Born of Osiris – Elevate

While on the road in 2024 with Atilla for The Angels & Villains Tour, Born of Osiris released their second single of the year. “Elevate” arrived in anticipation of their 2025 album Through Shadows. The heavy anthem was born during the pandemic and is representative of rising into a more positive place after releasing negativity, exemplified by lyrics such as “Embrace the will to change, remove the hatred from your system.”

Speaking on the song, the band shared, “Elevate embodies the essence of our roots. The combination of ethereal melodies with down-tuned guitars has helped inspire lyrics that evoke darker emotions.”

The music video was directed by Sam Beck, who also handled editing and VFX. The futuristic and alien/space-like imagery keeps Born of Osiris’s identity flowing through their new era of music. Along with the pictured visuals is the band's hard-hitting performance. Included in these shots are sparks and other items flying past the band and throughout the surrounding space. Later in the video, a human figure can be seen levitating, surrounded by countless other figures standing around them, mirroring the lyrics, “Lifting up from the ground, as we levitate / Feeling weightless and suspended in the empty space.”
