I See Stars – Eliminator

On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, I See Stars announced their upcoming album, THE WHEEL. Along with the announcement, the group revealed “Eliminator” to give fans a taste of the release. THE WHEEL arrived on September 12, 2025, and marked I See Stars’ first full-length album since their 2016 album Treehouse. “Eliminator” fuses the band’s iconic electronic landscapes with heavy elements and catchy melodies. The lyrical content is introspective, with lyrics such as “This way wasn’t a choice for me / It’s not how it’s supposed to be / And all that pain gave a voice to me / All I hear is noise.”

The song’s visualizer pairs perfectly with the energy and sound of the single. It is made almost entirely out of bright red, black, and white. The pixelated visuals reflect the buildups and contrast in the song. An electronic eye is seen in the majority of scenes, slowly blinking and moving.

The album garnered praise from fans, critics, and publications worldwide. I See Stars stated, “The last time we spent this much time on a record was our debut album, ‘3D’. ‘THE WHEEL’ is a time capsule capturing the past seven years of our lives. It’s a culmination of everything we’ve experienced individually, together, and as human beings navigating the chaos of the world. While we don’t plan to wait this long before releasing another album, we’re deeply grateful for the time it took to make this one. We poured ourselves into it, and we hope our fans feel that.”
