Face Yourself – Ov Agony

Following the band's acclaimed EP, Martyr, which includes fan favorites such as “Predatory” and “Primal”, came “Ov Agony.” It is one of the most emotionally raw tracks the band has to offer, speaking directly to any listener who has been in a place so dark that it led to feelings of wanting to give up. The track was produced by Joey Sturgis, known for his work with Asking Alexandria and The Devil Wears Prada.

The song is accompanied by a stunning music video, directed by Eric DiCarlo. The video depicts the band's electrifying performance surrounded by the crowd, often inches away from them, rather than on a stage. The green-blue tint saturates the clips, allowing the high-energy video to blend seamlessly.

Vocalist Yasmine Liverneaux explained, “This song is for anyone who has ever felt like giving up. I wrote the lyrics based on a suicide letter that I wrote for my parents when I was 15, that I ended up never giving to them. Now that I have reached a certain place in my life, it is easier to go back to those darker places, and heal these old wounds through music. I no longer have to hold this pain inside, and now that it has been freed through music, this pain doesn’t have to be mine anymore. I hope this can resonate with anyone who has shared this feeling, and hopefully let go of their pain knowing that artistic expressions can save lives, and unite people.”
