Bad Omens – Dying To Love

Following their fastest climb to number one with “Specter” and its subsequent track “Impose,” Bad Omens began to tease a new single. Ominous snippets were spread across the band's socials with the simple caption, “Heaven isn’t quite what it seems.” Some also added “Dying To Love - 10.22” for additional clarity. Soon after, fans gathered, theorizing an album on the way, along with multiple press breaks. Then, as promised, “Dying To Love” was released alongside its cinematic music video on October 22, 2025.

Similar to its predecessors, “Dying To Love” blends Bad Omens’ heavy essence with modern production. Vocalist Noah Sebastian’s gentle falsetto is mirrored by his raw screams and framed by brooding guitars and powerful drums. Its spectral, emotional lyrics are haunting. The verses sing, “Driving home with nowhere to be / Passing ghosts that tire of sleep / Blurry faces staring at me / They’re staring but they don’t see a thing,” while the explosive chorus chants, “I’ve been dying to love, dying to love, dying to love / One more second’s enough, second to love, second to love.”

Sebastian directed the music video alongside Nico Poalillo for the third time, continuing their “Specter-era” cinematic genius. It features the band performing in an abandoned pit surrounded by brutalist architecture while a group of ominous spectators watches them. More narrative elements, including another man confused in a deep pit, complete the eerie video.

“Dying To Love” made its live debut in Dublin on November 21, 2025–day one of the Do You Feel Love Europe tour. The fan reaction was immense, fueling Bad Omens' new era.

The single topped charts, capturing the number one spot on the US Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, the US Mainstream Rock chart, and the US Hard Rock Digital Song Sales. Alongside this, it also saw international success, especially in New Zealand, Germany, Canada, and the UK. “Dying To Love” caught the attention of fans, critics, and publications worldwide, drawing all eyes to Bad Omens. Following the song's massive success, it was nominated for the 2025 Nik Nocturnal Awards for Radio Song of the Year.

“Dying To Love” continued the undeniable impact of Bad Omens and propelled them forward into their new narrative chapter, leaving fans to speculate what comes next in the story.
