AlienBlaze – Lovesick

In 2023, AlienBlaze unleashed her collaboration with labelmate OmenXIII. “Lovesick” details a strained relationship where both sides feel the weight of drowning under the other. Produced by Kid Brunswick and mixed by Dan Lancaster (known for his work with Muse and Bring Me The Horizon), it stands as a genre-fluid heartbreak anthem. It cycles through dark alternative pop, emo, rap, and electronic elements, swelling with raw emotion. Her influences, including Bring Me The Horizon, Lil Peep, Linkin Park, and Billie Eilish, are all somehow woven together in “Lovesick.”

“I always wanted Lovesick to be a tortured love song, but it actually works even better as a duet. I just love what OmenXIII has done with his verse and I think our two styles actually give the song an extra intensity,” Alienblaze reveals.

The genesis of AlienBlaze's unique blend of sound dates back to her childhood: her mom was obsessed with grunge while her dad found his love in 70s rock. Her name comes from the concept of being alienated from her peers during important developmental years. At 13, she developed an illness that led her to miss almost three years of school. Desperate for an outlet, she found one in her mom's old Gibson U2. Through countless hours of teaching herself guitar and vocals, her music quickly evolved, keeping her rebellious spirit at the center.

Her first single appeared on streaming platforms for the first time in 2019. Since then, she has garnered widespread attention from fans and from celebrities. Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon), Rou Reynolds (Enter Shikari), Grimes, Ellie Rosewell (Wolf Alice), and more have praised her for her unique musicianship. She became a highly sought-after artist and signed to Sumerian Records in 2022.
