Existing in the intersection between homelessness and their imaginations, Jude and Bobby con their way through life to feed their addiction. They steal in an attempt to stay ahead and call their broken-down car home between motel room stays. The reality of their situation confronts them in the form of a hospitalization, and they must tackle the difficult truth of their relationship.

Directed by Collin Schiffli, the film is a journey through addiction, love, and the heavy reality that millions of people face. Animals was awarded the Programmer's Choice Awards at the 2014 Virginia Film Festival, alongside both a nomination and a win at SXSW.
