The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin

A 35-year old computer programmer becomes fascinated with Bitcoin, and through his eyes, the global impact of the open-source digital currency is showcased. The idea to start filming was born due to the programmer and his brothers' difficulty in explaining Bitcoin. His brother took on the role of director in order to create a documentary that serves as a bridge between the educated and those who aspire to be in the realm of digital currency. Through interviews and following the programmer throughout the world, Bitcoin’s concept, usage, and international impact is explained.
